Very compact PCB size: 0.5" x 1.0"
Optimum circuit layout for versatility:

  • 1uF bypass cap
  • 10k pullup on data line
  • 10k pull down on clock line (see FAQ #23 and note below about I2C)
  • 330ohm inline protection resistors for clock and data lines

4 pin 0.100" header location for VCC, Clock, Data, and GND

Supplied with a 4 pin right angle and straight header (unsoldered) to allow user versatility. This allows for top, bottom, and vertical mounting.

Sensirion SHT11 Sensor Specifications
  • 2 sensors: humidity and temperature
  • Humidity:
    • Range: 0-100% RH
    • Accuracy: +/- 3% RH
  • Temperature:
    • Range: -40°F (-40°C) to 254.9°F (123.8°C)
    • Accuracy: +/- 0.4°C @ 25 °C
  • Precise dewpoint calculation possible
  • Calibrated & digital output using a simple 2-wire interface
    • Similar to I2C, but I2C cannot be used with the SHT11.
    • The SHT11 sensor can share clock and data lines with an I2C bus and will not be adversely affected.
    • NOTE: When the WBA-TH1M module is connected in a manner that will share an I2C bus, the pulldown resistor on the SCK line must be removed so that the module will not prohibit proper I2C communications for I2C devices.
